Hey, would anyone who knows about this stuff be willing to contribute to a 'What are the best EQ presets for different kinds of music / artists?' thread?
I have about a hundred Foobar EQ presets and few have any recognizable names that might correspond to different types of music, i.e., 'live,' 'rock,' etc. I realize that a lot of what sounds 'best' depends on someone's taste and audio system but maybe those of you who are experienced in this can give some general rules? I pretty much just flail around and pick ones at random to check how they sound but there has got to be a more scientific system than that.
